💼 About This Role

You'll own the data services roadmap at ElectronX, a venture-backed startup building the first U.S.-regulated electricity derivatives market. You'll turn raw exchange data into structured products customers love, driving GTM strategy and customer discovery. This is a rare opportunity to define a 0-to-1 data business within a fast-growing company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Map data products to customer segments and update the customer-product matrix.
• Run a lightweight operating cadence for data services including backlog grooming.
• Maintain and evolve the canonical data model with engineering.
• Execute customer discovery: recruit design partners, run interviews, gather feedback.

📋 Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in exchange or vendor market data, product management, or data product operations.
• Ability to read and reason about schemas and data models without coding.
• Strong communicator who turns messy input into clean artifacts (tables, specs, slides).
• Detail-oriented and organized, owning the source of truth documentation.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in energy or financial derivatives markets.
• Familiarity with delivery methods like websocket, FIX, REST, or cloud.
• Prior experience in 0-to-1 product development.
