Description

As a Sourcing Manager, you will manage demand planning and sourcing for hardware used in the Starshield satellite constellation, working directly with key suppliers to develop cost management strategies and ensure rate production in the satellite factory.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years experience in engineering, purchasing, or supply chain
• Technical procurement or planning experience with PCB, PCBA, or electrical components
• Experience in production purchasing preferred
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work irregular hours and travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies with key suppliers
• Aggregate demand picture for hardware to enable accurate demand signal
• Serve as supplier interface for RFIs, RFPs, RFQs
• Manage cost aggressively to adhere to project budgets and forecasts
• Drive process improvements and cost-saving programs with suppliers
