Description

You will lead the electrical commissioning process for projects, ensuring safe energization and functional testing of equipment while managing schedules and coordinating with stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of electrical construction experience
• Experience with energization and switching of electrical equipment
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Experience with Lock-Out/Tag Out (LOTO)
• Ability to read one-line diagrams and schematics

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead field execution of commissioning including switching, breaker operations, and functional testing
• Develop electrical commissioning and testing procedures, including first-time energization
• Validate installation and pre-functional checklists for electrical gear
• Schedule, lead, and troubleshoot functional performance testing for electrical systems
• Interface with Commissioning Authority and Owner's reps during witness testing
