💼 About This Role

You'll conduct archaeological fieldwork across the Western US, performing pedestrian surveys and data collection. This on-call temporary role offers hands-on experience in diverse terrains.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Conduct archaeological pedestrian surveys
• Collect archaeological data using GPS and photography
• Perform subsurface testing and artifact identification
• Prepare high-quality field notes

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Archaeology or related field
• At least 6 months of archaeological field experience or field school
• Ability to hike long distances (up to 5-10 miles per day)
• Valid driver's license

✨ Nice to Have

• Residence in Arizona, Texas, or New Mexico
• Experience with GPS units and USGS maps
• Access to a laptop for administrative tasks
