💼 About This Role

You'll conduct archaeological fieldwork including surveys, subsurface testing, and artifact identification across the Gulf Coast states. Your core impact is collecting high-quality field data for environmental compliance projects. GPS navigation and detailed note-taking are key in this on-call role.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Conduct archaeological pedestrian surveys and subsurface testing
• Collect GPS data, photographs, and complete site forms
• Measure and fully record artifacts
• Prepare high-quality field notes

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field
• 6 months of archaeological field experience or field school
• Experience performing archaeological survey and excavation
• Ability to hike 5-10 miles per day in difficult terrain
