Partner Director, IBM - APAC

Description

You will own and grow CockroachDB's OEM partnership with IBM across APAC, driving partner-attributed revenue through joint selling with IBM's sales organization. This role involves pipeline development, deal execution, enablement, and forecasting, working cross-functionally with internal teams and IBM stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in sales, partner sales, or strategic partnerships
  • Proven ability to drive revenue through partners in OEM/cloud/enterprise tech ecosystems
  • Strong sales-focused mindset with experience in pipeline, forecasting, and closing deals
  • Experience working with partner sales teams and internal field sales
  • Willingness to travel across APAC and work across multiple time zones

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage IBM OEM partnership across APAC
  • Drive partner-sourced and partner-attributed pipeline through joint selling motions
  • Support opportunities from deal origin through close, partnering on strategy and negotiations
  • Lead regional partner enablement including sales training and field readiness
  • Forecast partner-driven deals and maintain pipeline visibility
