Description

As a Lead Solutions Engineer at Klaviyo, you will drive revenue by winning complex Enterprise deals, leading technical strategy in 6-7 figure opportunities, architecting Proof of Value plans, and collaborating with Account Executives. You'll also prototype technical solutions and contribute to Klaviyo's product roadmap through customer engagements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in Solutions Engineering or Pre-Sales with 3+ years leading technical strategy in high-complexity Enterprise deals (6-7 figures)
  • 5+ years across modern development stacks: Python, JavaScript frameworks (Node.js, React), RESTful APIs, SQL, mobile development
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Codex, Claude Code) and emerging patterns like MCP
  • Deep technical mastery of Klaviyo's platform and web development, APIs, cloud computing
  • Ability to operate with minimal oversight and manage high-stakes deals

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical strategy for complex Enterprise opportunities, navigating multi-layered stakeholder environments
  • Drive advanced technical discovery and host technical workshops aligning solutions to business outcomes
  • Architect and execute Proof of Value plans to achieve technical selection over competition
  • Serve as domain expert in marketing technology, CDPs, AI-driven personalization, analytics, and eCommerce
  • Prototype solutions and build proof-of-concepts demonstrating Klaviyo's differentiation
