Description

As an Athletic Training Intern at Seattle Sounders FC, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary medical staff supporting first team and MLS Next Pro players. This educational internship offers hands-on experience in athlete healthcare, under the supervision of licensed professionals, with opportunities to participate in community service and educational programs.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Athletic Training from CAATE accredited college
• Must be able to receive academic credit towards clinical educational requirement
• Affiliation agreement between university and Sounders prior to start
• Able to commit for minimum 12 weeks
• Must reside within Washington state upon date of hire

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of treatments, rehabilitation and prevention techniques under supervision
• Maintain inventory supplies and clinical equipment
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized training room/clinic areas
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills working effectively with players, coaches, and medical staff
• Participate in community service/educational programs related to sports medicine
