Description

As a Welding Supervisor on the Starship program, you will lead a team of welders, develop and evaluate welding procedures, enforce safety standards, and ensure production weld quality for launch hardware at Cape Canaveral. Your leadership will directly support SpaceX's mission of enabling human life on Mars.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 5+ years GTAW, FCAW, TIG, or GMAW experience
• 2+ years team or project leadership experience
• Ability to pass Space Force background check
• Ability to work night shift and lift 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate welding procedures
• Assist with tooling and fixturing designs for weld operations
• Select base and welding materials, control production weld quality
• Supervise and mentor junior welders, enforce safety
• Plan work, assign tasks, assess completed work
