Description

You will design, develop, and test in-house simulation software supporting all SpaceX flight systems, working across engineering groups to build high-fidelity simulations for Falcon, Dragon, Starlink, and Starship missions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS, engineering, math, or STEM; or 2+ years professional software development
• 1+ years C++ development experience
• Strong C++ design and development skills
• Understanding of distributed computing, networking, memory management, CPU scheduling
• Knowledge of classical physics and math (algebra, calculus, Euclidean geometry)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-fidelity real-time simulation software for all vehicles
• Develop prototypes to prove out key design concepts and quantify technical constraints
• Improve reliability and performance of simulation software
• Work with users to develop new features and improve user experiences
• Maintain high standards of excellence
