💼 About This Role

You'll support forest inventory efforts for afforestation and improved forest management projects across the southern US. You'll gain hands-on experience in tree identification, plot establishment, and carbon quantification while working with a remote senior biometrician and regional forestry staff.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Install and measure permanent forest inventory plots
• Assess and record plot- and tree-level variables
• Complete data entry and QA/QC procedures
• Conduct property inspections for site security

📋 Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in forestry or a closely related field
• Completed coursework in dendrology, forest mensuration, silviculture, and GIS
• 1+ year(s) of forestry internship experience
• Located or able to relocate to Little Rock/Conway/Morrilton, Arkansas
