Description

You will own the full sales cycle for accounts with up to 250 employees, engaging with data engineers and technical founders. Your role is to serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping prospects evaluate ClickHouse for real use cases and driving conversions through engineering consultations.

Requirements

  • Technical foundation from experience as data engineer, solutions engineer, software engineer, or similar
  • Comfort with modern data stack: columnar databases, streaming ingestion, cloud infrastructure, SQL analytics
  • Some customer-facing experience in pre-sales, technical account management, or solutions engineering
  • Ability to drive urgency and remove technical blockers without being pushy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Own full sales cycle from inbound lead to close for sub-250 employee accounts
  • Engage with data engineers and technical founders to understand use cases and map to ClickHouse capabilities
  • Troubleshoot schema design, ingestion patterns, and integration challenges during evaluation
  • Identify expansion opportunities within self-serve and product-led customer base
  • Partner with Solutions Engineers on complex evaluations and advocate for customer needs internally
