Description

You will lead and build the vendor contracting function for Airtable's legal team, managing negotiations for technology, services, and AI-related agreements. You'll collaborate with procurement, finance, and product teams to scale legal operations and support go-to-market strategy, ensuring AI vendor contracts align with legal, security, and customer requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years in-house contracts management experience, including at a SaaS or technology company
• Experience reviewing, negotiating, and drafting legal terms in a broad range of commercial contracts
• Experience negotiating with AI vendors, understanding legal, security, and compliance considerations
• Familiarity with AI contracting, including generative AI vs. traditional machine learning distinctions
• Strong drafting, communication, and solution-oriented skills; ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor contracting: negotiate legal terms, build playbooks and templates, maintain contracts repository, and develop data-driven insights
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, IT, security, privacy, and compliance on vendor reviews and approvals
• Support procure-to-pay process optimization and automation projects
• Advise on AI contract matters: enable product strategy, support go-to-market AI contracting, and align vendor risks with internal governance
• Participate in projects to increase efficiency of commercial legal support
