Description

As a Senior Developer Advocate at Okta, you will represent the company to external developers, create code demos, sample apps, blog posts, and videos, and engage with the developer community to champion their needs and translate feedback into product insights. You'll work remotely and collaborate with internal teams to drive adoption of Okta's identity solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a developer
• Strong technical understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, SDKs, and auth protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, etc.)
• Server-side development experience (Java and/or .NET a plus)
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Deep understanding of developer communities and forums

Responsibilities

• Create code demos and sample applications to showcase Okta product features
• Compose blog posts and videos on integrating Okta into identity solutions
• Answer developer questions on social media, forums, and comments
• Speak at technical events, support workshops/labs/hackathons
• Capture and drive feedback to product teams
