💼 About This Role

You'll be personally responsible for the architecture and implementation of core avionics elements for Inversion's next-generation re-entry vehicles. You'll own the complete lifecycle of avionics hardware from concept through qualified delivery. This role reports directly to the Director of Engineering, Avionics and sets technical standards for future team growth.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop complete avionics systems from concept through qualified hardware delivery
• Lead technical execution of avionics hardware builds including PCB design and harnessing
• Collaborate with propulsion, GNC, thermal, and software teams for system integration
• Design and qualify digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuit boards through environmental testing

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years in design, build, and test of satellite or spacecraft flight computer hardware
• Proficiency in mixed-signal and digital circuit simulations
• Hands-on experience with Altium Designer or similar PCB design software

✨ Nice to Have

• Background in high-reliability or safety-critical systems for spacecraft or automotive
• Proficiency with C/C++, Python, or Rust
• Experience with VHDL or Verilog RTL languages
