💼 About This Role

You'll join our Internal Tooling Engineering team to dramatically improve operational efficiency by building capabilities into existing back-office systems. You'll collaborate directly with Global Operations to identify pain points, translate needs into technical requirements, and deploy solutions that empower our organization. This role offers the chance to work on complex distributed systems and own projects from start to finish in a remote-friendly environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Rapidly understand and navigate diverse existing codebases across internal systems.
• Author robust, well-tested solutions spanning multiple backend and frontend services.
• Contribute to secure, resilient internal infrastructure and ensure its ongoing health.
• Participate in code reviews, fostering efficient testing culture and minimizing technical debt.
• Break down large cross-functional projects into manageable tasks and estimate multi-person efforts.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building complex internal software systems.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying cloud native micro-services.
• Passion for building automated tests alongside features.
• Real-world experience building complex distributed systems.

✨ Nice to Have

• Professional experience with Python or Go.
• Professional experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with system security (authentication, authorization, identity, API keys).
• Background in the finance industry.
