💼 About This Role

You'll join Nova Credit's Legal & Compliance team, advising on privacy and regulatory matters for a fintech that expands credit access. You'll embed privacy-by-design into product development and own the global privacy program. This role offers broad exposure to business operations in a highly regulated, mission-driven environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Advise product teams on privacy and consumer financial data regulations
• Develop and maintain global privacy policies and procedures
• Review product features for regulatory compliance early in design
• Coordinate cross-functional implementation of legal guidance

📋 Requirements

• Juris Doctor and active bar membership
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience in fintech or data-intensive industries
• Demonstrated expertise in US and global privacy law
• Experience advising product and engineering teams on regulatory compliance

✨ Nice to Have

• In-house experience at a fintech or financial services company
• Familiarity with FCRA, GLBA, CCPA/CPRA, and international privacy frameworks
• Experience with credit reporting or consumer financial data regulations
