Description

You will handle quotes and orders for customers, manage inventory, and support the sales team by liaising between manufacturers, customers, and our Sales team. You'll also assist with warehouse operations and ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus
• Proven experience in a sales-oriented role, preferably in a similar industry
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
• Proficient in using sales software, CRM systems, and MS Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Forklift operation certification (or willingness to obtain certification) is a plus
• Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Assist the sales team with customer inquiries, product information, and order processing
• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations
• Prepare and follow up on sales quotations, ensuring accurate and timely responses
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the product line to effectively address customer inquiries and upsell opportunities
• Provide outstanding customer service to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Receive and process incoming stock, ensuring accuracy and timely stocking of products
• Perform inventory management tasks, including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and order fulfillment
• Prepare shipments and ensure accurate documentation for outbound orders
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment for efficient operations
• Lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods
• Assist in maintaining sales records, customer databases, and reports
• Monitor sales metrics and generate periodic sales reports for management review
• Identify sales trends and opportunities to drive business growth
