Description

You will build and own the BLE connectivity platform on Samsara's mobile products (Samsara Driver and Fleet), delivering features that help frontline workers and administrators be more efficient. You'll collaborate with firmware, backend, and full-stack engineers to integrate with hardware and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant industry experience in mobile development for Android and/or iOS
• Built and shipped high-quality production mobile apps using native or React Native
• 3+ years of professional experience building BLE-enabled mobile applications
• Experience building and using observability tools and frameworks
• Strong leadership skills driving projects and working cross-functionally

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement a connectivity platform for Android and iOS
• Improve application architecture and development processes with the mobile team
• Partner with firmware and backend engineers on connectivity architecture
• Collaborate with full-stack engineers on mobile-specific concerns
• Mentor junior developers and level up the team
