Description

You will drive growth in Catawiki's Italian art category by identifying, negotiating, and onboarding new sellers such as galleries, dealers, and artists. You will take full ownership of the Italian market, build strategic partnerships, and use data to optimize performance and achieve GMV targets.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in Sales or Business Development with revenue targets and KPI ownership.
  • Native Italian speaker, fluent in English, and fluent in at least one additional European language.
  • Experience in digital marketplaces or fast-scaling environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset, comfortable with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot), data tools (e.g. Looker Studio), Google Workspace and AI tools.
  • Based in a major Italian city and willing to travel across the country.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, map and prioritise high-potential galleries, dealers and artists across Italy.
  • Proactively build and manage outbound pipeline through cold calling, email sequencing, direct outreach and seller meetings.
  • Convert inbound and outbound opportunities into long-term high-quality partnerships.
  • Use data, AI tools and performance insights to prioritise prospects and optimise conversion.
  • Structure and negotiate complex commercial agreements including single-seller auctions and incentive models.
