💼 About This Role

You'll join a cross-functional team building tools, APIs, and integrations for Remote's HR and Payroll platform. You'll help redesign engineering workflows with autonomous agents as the default execution layer. This role offers significant impact in a fast-growing company with a fully remote, async culture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead development of major team-scoped projects.
• Design and implement agentic workflows end-to-end.
• Review code and contribute to shared codebase.
• Mentor and provide guidance to other engineers.

📋 Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals and track record shipping production systems.
• Practical experience designing or adopting agentic/automation workflows.
• Ability to think in systems: define specs, break down plans, verify.
• Experience with Postgres and CI/CD (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with functional programming languages (Elixir, Erlang, Scala, etc.).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS.
• Experience with Next.js/React/Vue/Angular.
