💼 About This Role

You'll join SFG20 to create and maintain industry-standard maintenance schedules for building services. Your work will directly improve safety and compliance across the built environment. This role offers the chance to shape technical content used by facilities management professionals nationwide.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Research and produce maintenance-related technical content compliant with regulations.
• Create and revise SFG20 maintenance schedules including tasks, intervals, and durations.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy of technical documentation.
• Manage document repositories and implement version control best practices.

📋 Requirements

• Experience in the construction industry with significant facilities management activities.
• Understanding of engineering principles, maintenance, and legislative requirements for building services.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills for varied audiences.
• Familiarity with building handover documentation like O&M manuals and record drawings.

✨ Nice to Have

• Industry experience as an engineer in electrical or mechanical engineering with design and installation.
• Qualified to degree level or equivalent.
• Experience as a technical author in construction or similar environment.
