Requirements

• 4+ years HR generalist experience
• Strong knowledge of Japan employment laws
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Effective communication in English and Japanese
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Responsibilities

• Ensure HR compliance with local labor laws and global standards
• Own onboarding, offboarding, and leave of absence processes
• Maintain accurate employee records in Workday
• Administer benefits programs for Japan
• Analyze HR metrics and drive process improvements
