💼 About This Role

You'll join the Backend Engineering team to build scalable distributed systems for Verkada's AI-powered security platform. You'll design and implement features that handle high traffic from 100,000s of devices deployed worldwide. This internship offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge cloud infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build scalable distributed systems for high-traffic device deployments
• Work with high concurrency key-value storage systems like Redis and DynamoDB
• Design and implement microservice architectures using Python or Go
• Deploy services via Terraform and Kubernetes

📋 Requirements

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or similar field
• Prior internship experience developing and launching products
• Familiarity with Python or Golang
• Comfortable working in an agile team software development environment

• Familiarity with REST APIs
• Familiarity with Linux servers
