💼 About This Role

You'll own and scale the internal IT function for a company pioneering autonomous battery-electric rail vehicles. You'll design, implement, and operate the IT systems that support a fast-growing engineering and operations organization, ensuring infrastructure, tooling, and security scale with growth. This role is both strategic and hands-on, reporting into the engineering organization and working primarily on-site.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end IT strategy and operating model for company growth
• Design, maintain, and improve corporate IT infrastructure and networking
• Manage IT budget, forecast spend, and drive cost efficiency
• Lead vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and SaaS renewals

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field or 5+ years IT experience
• Experience owning and administering corporate IT environments including Active Directory and MDM platforms
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining office network infrastructure using Unifi or similar
• Experience managing IT budgets, vendors, contracts, and SaaS licensing

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience as primary IT owner or lead in a startup or high-growth environment
• Experience building or improving IT automation and operational workflows
• Working knowledge of authentication protocols like Kerberos, SAML, OAuth
