You'll design and plan outside plant facilities for copper and fiber networks, handling everything from engineering drawings to permit submissions. Your work will directly enable reliable telecommunications infrastructure for a leading technology-enabled asset management provider. This role combines fieldwork with project management in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and plan OSP facilities for copper and fiber infrastructure
• Prepare engineering drawings, loop loss calculations, and switch designs
• Develop project budgets and monitor costs
• Coordinate permitting with municipal and state agencies

📋 Requirements

• 3–5 years of copper and fiber optic network engineering experience
• Minimum 5 years in OSP engineering including permitting
• Proficiency in FROGS, Varasset, and SiteTracker tools
• Willingness to travel locally and reside within 2 hours of Freeport, IL

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with joint-use coordination and make-ready work
• Knowledge of PUC complaint investigations
