💼 About This Role

You'll join QED to build digital infrastructure and AI for public health and food security in Sub-Saharan Africa. You'll own data pipelines and system architecture for national-scale projects with organizations like the Global Fund and Gates Foundation. The work mixes product development, internal platform, and client integration.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain data pipelines using ETL/ELT approaches
• Structure data systems into raw, cleaned, and curated layers
• Participate in design sessions and code reviews
• Tackle a wide array of problems and technologies

📋 Requirements

• 3-5 years experience with data pipelines and ETL/ELT
• Strong background in software engineering and version control
• Experience with batch, micro-batch, or streaming approaches
• Working proficiency in English (≥C1, ≥45 wpm)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Python, Django, DBT, Dagster, or Clickhouse
• Experience with Docker, Terraform, or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modeling
