You'll own the design of primary and secondary structures for large-scale space stations at Vast. You will develop understanding of static and dynamic loads and drive design decisions for human-rated spacecraft. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Own design of primary and secondary structures on a large space station.
• Develop understanding of loads, vibrations, and thermal considerations for design.
• Perform mechanical design, analysis, and manufacturing drawings.
• Lead trades and own interfaces with subsystems.
• Work with fabricators and technicians to resolve issues.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace, civil, physics, or math.
• 4+ years experience with CAD and FEA software packages.
• 4+ years experience designing and developing mechanical components or systems.
