You'll design and build backend services powering Vanta's automated attack surface analysis engine. Your work directly enables companies to mitigate third-party risks. You'll lead complex projects with talented engineers to deliver significant impact on customer security.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and operate backend services for large-scale attack surface analysis
• Build distributed systems for asset discovery and vulnerability scanning
• Engineer monitoring and alerting systems for security data pipeline reliability
• Collaborate with security researchers to deploy new scanning techniques

📋 Requirements

• At least 8 years of industry experience
• Experience with AWS services and scaling platforms in fast-growing environments
• Previous technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects
• Previous startup experience or bias for action environment

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience or strong interest in cybersecurity concepts like EASM or vulnerability scanning
• Experience on greenfield projects
• Open to using AI to amplify skills responsibly
