Description

You will design, build, and operate backend services and data integrations that power personalized marketing experiences across CRM and Digital Marketing channels at Realtor.com. This role involves working with modern cloud patterns on AWS, streaming and batch data platforms, and AI coding assistants to accelerate development.

Requirements

• 5+ years building backend/data systems in production
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js, Python, or Java/Kotlin
• Solid SQL skills with Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouses
• Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka/MSK) and AWS services
• CI/CD expertise (CircleCI, GitHub, Argo) and observability practices

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services and data integrations on AWS
• Collaborate with data platform teams on Snowflake and Kafka for real-time marketing
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI, GitHub, and Argo
• Strengthen observability with metrics, logging, and tracing using New Relic and Splunk
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and ship incremental value
