You'll own the data ingestion and enrichment layer for Preply's Lake House, ensuring production-grade data assets for analytics, ML, and product. You'll drive technical vision and cross-functional initiatives to build trusted data foundations that power AI-driven products. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build Preply's data lake with clear ownership and quality expectations.
• Develop scalable batch and streaming ingestion pipelines.
• Define data contracts and embed validation and quality checks early.
• Build enrichment logic to join and standardize data across domains.

📋 Requirements

• Experience driving architectural patterns of large-scale applications.
• Solid experience in data engineering with multi-stakeholder deliveries.
• Hands-on with real-time and batch processing frameworks like Spark, Flink, Kafka.
• Expertise with orchestration tools such as Airflow or dbt.
