💼 About This Role

You'll lead the Data Science organization across product, marketing, and care marketplace science at Headspace. You'll advance scientific rigor and deepen capabilities in product analytics and behavioral measurement. This role manages managers and principal-level scientists, setting strategy and ensuring technical quality.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own strategy, execution, and impact of Data Science across product, marketing, and forecasting.
• Set direction for product development, experimentation, lifecycle, growth, and business decision-making.
• Establish high standards across experimentation, causal inference, modeling, and statistical rigor.
• Build and lead a high-performing team, developing leaders and leveraging AI for productivity.

📋 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in data science, product science, or related fields.
• Proven ability managing senior ICs and people managers, including principal-level scientists.
• Deep expertise in experimentation, causal inference, and predictive modeling.
• Strong track record influencing roadmap and investment decisions with evidence-based recommendations.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience owning both product and marketing science.
• Experience with Statsig or similar experimentation platforms.
• Experience in healthcare, digital health, or subscription businesses.
