Description

As a Senior Cost Accountant at Astranis, you will steward production costs and partner with Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure accurate inventory valuation. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to master cost accounting in a complex hardware environment, while contributing to the reliability of satellites we launch.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in inventory accounting and costing
• Experience in high-growth manufacturing, hardware, or tech environment
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks
• Demonstrated expertise in solving complex operational issues
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly inventory subledger reconciliation between MES tool and ERP
• Contribute to building out satellite costing function
• Identify and resolve complex issues and process bottlenecks
• Collaborate on month-end and year-end closing activities
• Support financial audits and SOX compliance
