💼 About This Role

You'll serve as a key strategic legal advisor for Fresha, the AI-powered operating system for beauty and wellness. You'll help navigate complex legal matters across corporate, commercial, regulatory, and employment law while supporting rapid growth. This role offers the chance to establish the legal function in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS agreements, partnership contracts, and vendor agreements.
• Ensure compliance with data protection (GDPR) and financial services regulations across jurisdictions.
• Provide legal guidance on employment contracts, policies, and workplace compliance.
• Identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.

📋 Requirements

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Experience in corporate/commercial law in a tech, SaaS, or fintech environment.
• Strong understanding of contract law, intellectual property, data protection (GDPR), and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work autonomously and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.

✨ Nice to Have

• Fluency in another language (French, Spanish, or Arabic).
• Experience with venture-backed startups and corporate governance.
• Prior work in financial technology or payment processing regulations.

📨 Hiring Process

Screening call with Talent Team, then interview with Chief People Officer, then final interview with Founder & CEO and Chief Payments Officer, typically completed within 2-3 weeks.
