You'll join the Tech Team to develop and manage the technology infrastructure that powers Octopus Energy's customer experience. You will create new digital features and simplify energy management through technology. This role offers the chance to work in an agile, flat-hierarchy culture with a focus on innovation and collaboration.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop backend solutions for new features and services
• Optimize existing services for simplicity and accessibility
• Integrate APIs and improve customer experience
• Collaborate in an agile, flat-hierarchy team

📋 Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience as a backend developer
• Proficiency in Python and Django or equivalent web framework
• Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs
• Experience with Celery and asynchronous processes
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS
• Familiarity with Terraform, Packer, Consul
• Knowledge of React and Next.js
