💼 About This Role

You'll build MoonPay's SOX 404 program from scratch, leading the internal controls framework for IPO readiness. You'll partner across Finance, IT, and Operations to embed controls and ensure compliance with SEC/PCAOB standards. This role offers the chance to shape systems for a trusted crypto payments platform used by 30+ million customers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end SOX 404 program including scoping, risk assessment, controls design
• Lead remediation of control gaps and implement preventive/detective controls
• Oversee control testing, manage deficiencies, and liaise with auditors
• Build and lead the SOX team, drive automation and scalability

📋 Requirements

• CPA required
• 8+ years progressive accounting/audit experience with 3–5 years dedicated SOX program management
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC rules, COSO framework, and PCAOB standards
• Experience managing SOX readiness at pre-IPO, high-growth, or multinational company
