💼 About This Role

You'll design and build reconciliation systems for Grafana Cloud stacks at the intersection of product, platform, and operations. You'll own the stack lifecycle workflows that keep customer environments reliable and scalable. This is a remote-first role on a globally distributed team using modern tools including AI coding assistants.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and operate reconciliation systems for stack state drift detection
• Build control-plane services for creating, configuring, and migrating Grafana Cloud stacks
• Improve incident response and recovery for stack misalignment and failures
• Partner with Product and Infrastructure teams on stack lifecycle work

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience in Go or similar
• Experience building distributed systems and microservices
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues
• Open source contribution experience
