💼 About This Role

You'll own the end-to-end budget for Verkada's legal team, including outside counsel spend and vendor oversight. You'll partner with finance on forecasting and drive operational initiatives to improve legal workflows. This role offers the chance to build processes from the ground up at a fast-growing cloud security leader.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage end-to-end legal budget including outside counsel and software.
• Partner with finance on budgeting, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Manage legal billing platform (SimpleLegal) and optimize processes.
• Develop dashboards for legal leadership on spend and trends.

📋 Requirements

• 3–8+ years of experience in legal operations or legal financial management.
• Deep experience with budgeting, forecasting, and eBilling platforms.
• Strong experience with CLM and eDiscovery/legal hold tools.
• Proven ability to operate independently with attention to detail.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with SimpleLegal platform.
• Familiarity with Logikcull, Ironclad, Pigment.
• Experience in a high-growth in-house legal team.
