Description

You will provide pre-order engineering support, collaborate with design teams, and review customer plans to develop custom solutions for three-phase power and switchgear applications. Your work ensures alignment with product offerings, codes, and standards while supporting sales and production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience in design, applications, or field service with power products
• Experience with AutoCAD and switchgear design
• Strong understanding of three-phase electric power systems, distribution, control, and protection
• Proficiency in communications hardware and protocols including Ethernet, Modbus, and IEC 61850

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-order engineering support including drawings, diagrams, sequences of operation, and bills of materials
• Collaborate with design, mechanical, and production teams to develop innovative solutions for unique applications
• Review customer plans, specifications, and scope of work to ensure alignment with product offerings
• Offer technical input to product development teams for new products or enhancements
• Deliver technical training on IEM products and applications to internal teams and clients
