You'll ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our backend systems. You'll focus on testing APIs, databases, and backend services while collaborating closely with engineers. This self-funded company has reached over 100 million downloads and is building an AI-powered Personal Resource Planner.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and execute tests for backend systems, including APIs and databases.
• Validate API functionality and performance using Postman or Swagger.
• Test and verify database operations and data integrity in PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to review pull requests.
• Support development and maintenance of automated tests.

📋 Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in backend testing or software development in test.
• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript in backend environments.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Swagger, or similar.

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail.
• Comfort reviewing pull requests and backend architecture changes.
