Description

You will lead a team designing advanced communications and data link systems for Coherent Distributed Networks (CDN), developing new product families, and implementing algorithms for beamforming, time-transfer, and GPS-free positioning. Work involves hands-on development with software and hardware, field testing, and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field
• 10+ years experience in directional communications systems
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB
• Systems Engineering experience with RF systems
• Expertise in digital signal processing and algorithm development

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced directive data links for CDN nodes
• Reduce RF signature of data links
• Incorporate highly accurate time-transfer algorithms into network
• Develop low-cost, robust hardware for tactical data links between mobile nodes
• Implement algorithms for directional beamforming, navigation without GPS, and real-time performance
