Description

You will lead a team of backend Java engineers building core authentication and authorization features for Okta's platform. You'll manage team goals, contribute to product strategy, and ensure delivery of secure, scalable identity solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years managing engineering teams
• Experience balancing new feature development and maintaining existing features
• Stakeholder management: alignment, prioritization, communication, and incorporating feedback

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally and define product/technical strategic direction and roadmap
• Ensure technical leadership for scalable/maintainable systems and high-quality bar through testing
• Enable key team processes to organize and deliver high-impact projects
• Build and grow a team: recruit, develop talent, create collaborative environment
• Drive career management including setting expectations, removing blockers, and coaching
