You'll architect and implement features across the Roku home screen and Browse Surfaces, owning the OS UI platform from the OS layer through SceneGraph UI to cloud integration. You'll drive performance and memory efficiency on constrained embedded hardware while collaborating with product, design, and cloud teams to ship to hundreds of millions of devices. This role offers deep ownership and the chance to mentor engineers on a fast-moving team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and implement features across Roku home screen Browse Surfaces
• Drive performance, memory efficiency, and reliability on constrained embedded hardware
• Own features end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, and production rollout
• Collaborate with UI/UX, product management, and cloud engineering teams

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with embedded or consumer electronics
• Deep proficiency in C++ and/or BrightScript/SceneGraph/TypeScript
• Proven track record architecting and shipping features on constrained embedded platforms
• Strong understanding of multi-threaded development and real-time programming
