Description

As a PRN RN at Bethesda, you'll assess residents' health, develop care plans, administer medications and treatments, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team. You'll use critical thinking to handle changes in condition and contribute to a caring, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN license in state of practice
• CPR/AED certification required or willing to obtain within 6 months
• Critical thinking and excellent communication skills
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift/transfer patients weighing 200+ lbs with assistance
• Long-term care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' health status and educational/environmental needs on admission and ongoing
• Develop and revise care plans using an interdisciplinary approach
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV fluids safely and timely
• Communicate significant changes in condition to physicians using SBARR
• Monitor care delivery and use QAPI process for problem resolution
