Description

You will service, maintain, and repair commercial generators and HVAC equipment at telecom and cell tower sites in the Des Moines area. This field role involves preventative maintenance, emergency callouts, and load-bank testing in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 1+ year generator and/or HVAC service experience (technical school accepted) preferred but not required.
• Preferred experience with ATS, electrical troubleshooting, and critical power systems.
• EPA Universal or Type II Certification preferred; EGSA a plus.
• Knowledge of FCC, FAA, EPA, OSHA standards.
• Valid driver's license (1+ year) with acceptable driving record; pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair generators and HVAC systems at telecom/cell tower sites.
• Maintain commercial package cooling systems for telecom equipment shelters.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, inspections, load-bank testing, and performance checks.
• Perform basic generator repairs, oil changes, lubrication, and fuel system maintenance.
• Respond to 24/7 emergency callouts and complete accurate service reports.
