💼 About This Role
You'll drive adoption of Databricks' data and AI platform in Japan's public sector, leading full sales cycles and building executive relationships. Your impact will exceed revenue targets by winning new public sector customers across central ministries and local governments. You'll orchestrate internal teams and partner ecosystems to deliver successful outcomes.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Own and exceed revenue targets for public sector accounts
- Develop territory and account strategy to prioritize high-potential accounts
- Drive expansion of Databricks usage in newly landed accounts
- Proactively identify new AI and data use cases in government operations
📋 Requirements
- 8+ years of SaaS, cloud, AI, or big data sales experience in Japan
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex public sector stakeholder ecosystems
- Deep understanding of public sector priorities and procurement processes in Japan
- Experience with Japanese government procurement and compliance frameworks
✨ Nice to Have
- Background in selling usage-based PaaS/SaaS or data/AI/ML solutions
- Experience with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC)
- Clear understanding of partner strategy for public sector
