Description

You will lead and manage Ghost's accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls. You'll collaborate with executive leadership to support decision-making and long-term planning in a fast-paced, AI-native inventory distribution platform.

Requirements

• Active CPA and Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 10+ years accounting experience including 5+ years Big 4
• Led an accounting team of 5 or more
• Experience with audit readiness and PCAOB audit standards
• Strong understanding of payroll, treasury, bank reconciliations, and internal controls

Responsibilities

• Oversee core accounting functions including AP, AR, general ledger, treasury, fixed assets, and deal level economics
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close ensuring GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Design and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Partner with Finance Lead to prepare quarterly Board materials and KPIs
• Lead audit readiness assessment and transition to PCAOB audit standards
