Description

As a Genomics Lab Technician, you will fix, barcode, and sequence biological samples using our proprietary split-pool combinatorial barcoding protocol. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless process execution and continuous improvement, directly advancing our customers' research in areas like cancer treatment and stem cell therapy.

Requirements

• B.S./B.A. in relevant field with 3+ years wet lab experience, or Associate's with 5+ years experience
• Proven ability in molecular biology or chemistry lab techniques
• Experience with NGS (Illumina/Ultima) platforms required
• Experience with lab automation (Hamilton) preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Perform cell/nuclei fixation and library preparation using split-pool combinatorial barcoding
• Use cell counting, electrophoresis, and NGS platforms (Illumina/Ultima) to analyze samples
• Operate and support automated lab systems for Next Generation Sequencing
• Maintain accurate batch records and use LIMS for sample tracking following GDP
• Adhere to SOPs and GCLP standards in a BSL-1/BSL-2 environment
