Description

You will maintain, program, and operate robotic and automated systems for heat shield manufacturing and integration, supporting the development of Starship's thermal protection system.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years of experience with robotic or automated systems
• 3+ years of experience as a technician
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (day or night)
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (ITAR)

Responsibilities

• Maintain vacuum chambers, thermal chambers, CNC machines, and robotic welders
• Repair and operate robotic assets to ensure proper operating condition
• Replace electrical components such as switches, relays, and sensors
• Replace mechanical components like bearings, motors, pumps, valves, and hoses
• Fabricate ceramic refractory billets, tiles, thermal gap fillers, coatings, and other TPS components
