You will serve patients by identifying the best method for retrieving blood, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and performing screening procedures in an onsite setting in Livonia, MI.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience
• Phlebotomy Certificate if required by state
• BS/BA degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Verify test requisitions and patient identification
• Obtain blood specimens via venipunctures and finger sticks
• Maintain specimen integrity using aseptic technique
• Track and document collected specimens
• Resolve unusual test orders and maintain quality results
